The Welsh Cupboard Found a New Home

Monday, June 21, 2021

Hello, My Lovelies!  It's Monday!  Have you had your coffee or tea this morning?  I enjoy having my  morning coffee in our "new" dining room.  We're enjoying the sunlight, and for the first time, we've moved our Welsh Dresser in here: It used to live in our family room.  I think this is where it should live because it makes more sense.  When we first moved in, we had an armoire (that's now in the art studio) placed on the same wall.

I set the table for dinner.  We'll be having a beef stew (Mr. Sketchy Reader requested it).

This tablescape features our vintage MacKenzie-Childs Wallcourt bowls.

We moved this server/bar from the opposite corner to accommodate the cupboard.

Centerpiece
I'm hoping the pink peony opens as fully as the crimson one.

I spent a third of my flower budget on this guy, but it was worth it!
I haven’t seen many crimson peonies.

If you have any questions about any of the items in our dining room, please send me an email or leave a comment, below!

Until next time...

Blessings!
Ricki Jill

  2. I think you will enjoy the Welsh cupboard so much in it's new location in the dining room. It looks so pretty displaying some of your MC's plates. The table setting is just as lovely and the beef stew sounds delicious and we have perfect weather for enjoying the hearty dish. I know you miss your trees but what a blessing to now enjoy the sunlight coming through the windows. As usual, a beautiful post with your talented photography..........Look forward to seeing you soon!
