Eye Candy for the Armchair Traveler

Monday, August 10, 2020

Happy Monday, My Lovelies!

I have a treat for you today.

Are you an armchair traveler?  Most of us are these days, unfortunately.

I happened to stumble upon the most beautiful series that is absolutely a must for the armchair traveler and lover of all things floral: The In Bloom Series by Georgianna Lane.

This is where I first read about the books:

This is the prettiest special edition of Victoria Magazine.  The gardens featured in this issue will take your breath away.

You really must get a copy of Victoria Classics Flowers and Gardens.  Each page is inspiring!  Inside I read about London in Bloom.

When I saw this layout in the magazine, I audibly gasped!  I read about the books and ordered London in Bloom.

In the book, Georgianna captures parks and gardens in full bloom as well as stylish florist shops and flower markets.  All of the landscape photos are perfect compositions.  The photos that are styled like those in the spread above are equally as charming.

The other two books in the series thus far are Paris in Bloom and New York in Bloom.  Below are IndieBound affiliate links for purchasing these beautiful books.  Aren't the covers stunning!

Do you have a favorite?  As much as I love the flatiron building with the flowering branches on the New York in Bloom cover, I was sold on the pink bicycle on the cover of London in Bloom.  It's my favorite cover!

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Until next time...

Happy reading!
Ricki Jill
