Pomegranates on the Brain
Saturday, January 7, 2012
Hey, y'all! I'm a wife, mother, fur baby mama to 2 Westies, artist, and Christian. I enjoy reading when I'm not painting or drawing. My husband and I have been married for thirty-six years, and we enjoy spending time at beautiful Lake Martin, Alabama. We are blessed with two sweet daugters. I'm addicted to the Hallmark Channel, I confess!

Always envious of your style and creativity, I came late enough to the party to not know you paint as well...I have to go now!

You are so talented Ricki Jill. Gorgeous. You make me so jealous. I really need to get my paints out again and give acrylics a try. Me medium of choice has been watercolor.
ReplyDeleteI like what I'm seeing so far. Keep up the amazing work, I got a feeling this is going to be beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWow - this painting is so beautiful and rich - such lovely depth! I'm glad you're feeling better from your food poisoning! I just read about it, poor dear. Yuck, yuck, yuck. So sorry!

Love pomegranites! they are so yummy! My grandma makes an awesome pomegranite jelly that I really love on biscuits!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous painting you are doing. I love pomegranates too - I almost like the look of them more than the taste. I'm looking forward to seeing this one when it is finished with all its luscious rich colours.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about pomegranates...I'm really into them too. That painting is beautiful. You are so talented.
