Lilac {Envy}

Thursday, June 2, 2011

I am green with envy.  So many of my Northern friends have been posting lovely pictures of the prettiest lilacs I have ever seen.  Yep!  I have been so, so jealous because most lilac varieties  do not grow well here in Alabama. While I was at the market today, guess what I found?

I found these pretty white lilacs.  They made me smile, and I thought of all the pretty lilac posts y'all have shared with me.  They have truly made me happy seeing all of your gorgeous lilac photos.

I put them on our kitchen table, and I set it all girly.  Mr. Art@Home puts up with a lot out of me.  He is living in a Barbie world around here, poor guy.

I am joining Courtney's Feathered Nest Friday @ French Country Cottage, and Fresh-Cut Fridays @ Rose Vignettes.

Until next time...

Blessings!

  5. Oh Ricki Sweetie...
    I love these beautiful white lilacs. The scent drew me right on in. So fragrant and beautiful on your table setting. I love a girlie feminine table. DH never complains either, as long as there is something on his dinner plate.

    I haven't seen any lilacs out here in the valley. I don't even know if they would grow out here.

    (I am happy to have a patio tomato plant with 9 tomatoes on board. Imagine that? It cost more to water the darn thing than it would to buy them at the store. I just wanted to prove something to myself.)

    Have a beautiful Friday sweetie. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
