St. Patrick's Day Mantel

Friday, March 4, 2011

I have a six inch clearance to decorate my mantel because of the TV.  I hate it, but I love my husband more than I hate the TV.

I should really be embarrassed to post this poor excuse for decorations.  But apparently I have no shame, so here goes (please don't un-follow me)....

I had some leftover tiny flower pots I used for party decorations, and I thought I'd use them for the mantel.  The letters spell "Erin Go Bragh" or "Ireland Forever."

I used an Annie Glass boat, cheesy picture frames, and votives to complete the mantel.

Sunlight does not look happy about being surrounded by such tackiness.

Sorry, little dude!

Mayhap I can redeem myself tomorrow.

Linking up to Spring Mantel Party @ Women Who Do It All.

Until next time...

  6. Cute! I love the frames. I'm going to have to show this to my mom because she never even attempts to decorate her mantel since the tv is above it, but now I can show her it can still be decorated all cute :)
