Random Activities

Happy Tuesday, My Lovelies!  Beware the Ides of March!

I just thought I'd share some random activities with you on this post.  We've been busy as Shelley wraps-up her Senior year.

Shelley and Goose

The main reason I was MIA last week:  Shelley had a horse show in Auburn, Alabama.  Her first day showing was not fun for her at all, but she rallied, and had a successful show after that.  I'm very proud of her!  She mostly placed third and fourth in the show, but she did win one second place. Congratulations, Shelley!

The yellows are third and the whites fourth

Finlay was very busy at the horse show.  He's still recovering.

Any idea what this is?

I've been slowly doing some spring cleaning, but it's hard when our plans keep falling through (mainly due to the weather last weekend).  I found the cutest idea for a kitchen towel ever.

The beauty of it is it won't fall off or be pulled off by a busy Westie!

I decorated for Pi Day.  You can read my posts here and here.

We're also getting ready for the March Trifecta:

March 17th:  St. Patrick's Day
March 18th:  My Grandmother's 96th Birthday
March 19th:  Mr. Art @ Home and My 28th Wedding Anniversary

Our plans for the week are still up in the air, but at least I know that we'll be celebrating my grandmother's birthday next week.

Do you have big plans this week?

Until next time...

Blessings!
Ricki Jill

  1. Wow, just look at all those ribbons! Congratulations to Shelley. She looks so adorable posing with Goose. You two have had such a busy year. We had hoped to get away for a few days this week but we both have things we have to do and finish up first. Maybe by the end of the month. Have a good day rj……….

  3. Way to go Shelley! That's a lot of ribbons. Must have been several events. ;)

I've had a girlfriend here a few days. She just left so I'm playing catch up.

  4. Go Shelley, loved the photo and RJ Mr, Finlay is one doggie who warms my heart, so sweet in every one of his photos. Your towel idea is very springy and I am sure works well with the antics of Finlay.
Enjoy a happy day my friend.
    xoxo,
    Vera

  6. How exciting to celebrate your grandmother's 96th birthday. Please tell her a friend in Texas sends birthday greetings. My mom celebrated her 99th just a month before her passing. I hope your grandmother is in good health and enjoys her celebration.

  7. Congrats to Shelley for all those ribbons.

I missed out on Pi Day this year. I am being really good about not eating flour - my 50th high school reunion is in September and I am working toward my high school weight for September.
