Shanley Belle and I had a wonderful time on our road trip.  Can you guess our destination? Here is a hint:

Give up yet????  LOL Yep!  We went to the MacKenzie-Childs Barn Sale.  I have always wanted to visit Aurora, New York, to see where the products are made and shop, of course!  We visited with friends and family along the way, and we also stopped at some of the most unique Indie Book Stores!

More on our trip later in the week.  Now on to My Happy List!

My Happy List

1.   Wow, what an amazing trip to Aurora and all points in between!  We enjoyed visiting MacKenzie-Childs.  We have collected it for 25 years, and it still makes me happy because it's fun!

2.  We met the nicest women from upstate New York @ MacKenzie-Childs. Southerners are supposedly known for their hospitality, but I have to tell you that the ladies from Auburn, NY and Rochester were so incredibly kind to Shanley and me.  They helped show us the ropes and explained what to expect at the sale.  Thank-you, ladies!  Your kindness made me so, so happy!

3.   Today is Mr. Art @ Home's FIFTIETH BIRTHDAY!!!  :D  He always makes me so happy, and I hope that he will enjoy the yummy blackberry cobbler we are baking for him today!

Be prepared for several MacKenzie-Childs posts this week!  I have missed y'all, and I will visit after all of the birthday festivities!

Until next time...

Blessings!
