UPDATE: This gorgeous photo is from my new favorite blog, White on Rice Couple.
Check out the post here.
I have had this lovely photo in my project file for quite some time. I probably filched it from someone's blog. If this is your image please let me know, and I will post a link! I started an 8" X 10" painting of it Monday (oil on canvas), and it should take me several weeks to paint it.
What do you think: Is it a good choice?
I will not have time to paint today because I am running errands and having lunch with my mother and grandmother. What are your plans for today?
I will catch-up with your blogs this evening.
Until next time...
Blessings!
Ricki Jill

ReplyDeleteOh, yes, that will be beautiful!
ReplyDeleteToday? Well, it is the last day of a meeting for My Honey here in Ft. Lauderdale so tomorrow we will be on the road again. I'm looking forward to a romantic dinner for two tonight.
Hugs,
Lois
Just gorgeous!!! Love the pink of the rose and the blue of the jar.
ReplyDeletehi Ricki Jill, A beautiful image. Perfect for a painting project. Love the color of the old jar with the lovely colors of the flowers. We've had our weekend planned for some time. It is a celebration of Father's Day and my grandson's birthday. It was going to be either here or a get together at the beach. Guess where I'm going to meet up with all the family? "Beach Trip"! No complaints from me. Today I'm packing.……Hope your weekend is lovely.

ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful, Ricki Jill! I love it!! In fact, I'd love a painting like that for my own home...I just need to get some canvas and paints and start practicing. I haven't painted since my college art classes. How sad is that? And I loved it so much! *sigh*
