My camera is broken, so I probably won't be able to post what I had planned until I get it fixed. In the meantime, I thought I would share a couple of pictures of ducks and a doe.  I took these photos by our daughter's dorm at the University of Alabama.

Until next time...

  1. Very pretty!

I guess the only thing worse than a broken camera would be a broken computer. :\ I hope your camera gets all better (or replaced) soon!

  2. Beautiful! I came upon two deer the other day when I was running. Each had a pair of fawns - I wish I had a camera. I had to stop and watch them for a bit.

  3. So sweet. We have deer all over here. The rascals were up eating the fallen apples after Hurricane Irene. Their big brown eyes melt your heart.

  10. Oh no, a Blogger without a camera is like a day without sunshine....lol! Hope it's not too serious. I read your "Happy List" the other day (I always try to do that but don't always have a chance to comment) & it made me smile. I feel happy just reading your "Happy List!" By-the-way, good luck to your daughter as she begins this new "college" chapter of her life.

  12. Oh Ricki Jill,
Those are beautiful. My father-in-law used to carve wooden ducks that were amazing. That doe is so sweet. I love to see picture of nature. Thank you. It made my morning.

  16. I hope your camera is ok? That totally stinks! I have what I call my big camera and my little camera! So, usually I have a back up plan, but then sometimes not, dead battery or something will hex my plan. Good luck!

  20. Like you, the wildlife around my house never cease to fascinate me, though I've been seeing a skunk around lately and he makes me nervous! So sorry about your camera. I've been away from blogging for a couple of weeks so I just caught up on yours - LOVE your new art studio! What a beautifully creative space. So happy for you!
