{Mod Apartment} *love*

Monday, June 20, 2011

My oldest daughter loves shopping at Modcloth.  I have been shopping at Mod Apartment for her dorm room, and I bought some goodies for our home, too.

Although I have already posted about these canisters, I must say that I am still loving them. The seal is tight, and the patterns are retro and cheerful.

My most recent purchase includes this fun cutlery set.  Each set of four is comprised of a different pattern, and I think they make for a fun informal meal on the deck or even in the kitchen.  I found the cutlery caddy at AtHome in Homewood, Alabama.

I set our breakfast table this morning for muesli and tea.  It was fun not matching anything. I hope the girls will like it when they wake-up, and it will start their week off right.  We had a long, fun, exhausting weekend!

Do you like to mix it up, or are you a matchy-matchy girl?  I think I am a little of both!

  4. I have never heard of this mod store, sounds like fun! Some times I mix things up, but usually I'm a pretty boring table setter. Yep, that Debbie is a trouble maker, but gave me the kick in the butt I needed to work on my patio

  6. My oldest loves Modcloth. I like to sneak into her favorites and order things for her for birthdays and Christmas. They do have some of the best retro cuteness out there.

  8. I just visited your blog. I have seen your comments on different blog sites, one of them was Daisy Cottage. In fact, that was one of the blogs that inspired me to start my own. I read where you were passionate about taking care of your family. I too, am very close to my family, and I was a stay at home mom for many years, and when my kids were in school, I was a Teacher's Aide. Me and my daughters just started a new Blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. The link is: http:redrosealley.blogspot.com We recently did a post about "Home Treasures," and it will give you a chance to get to know us a little better. Hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day.

  12. I'm unfortunately a matchy-matchy girl & I've been trying to break myself of that habit! I love your mod canisters, the flatware caddy & the flatware. It's amazing! (I have a thing for flatware.) I actually love it all mixed up like that.
