Beautiful Christmas Floral Arrangement

Saturday, December 11, 2021

Happy Saturday, My Lovelies!  Only two more weeks until Christmas!  YAY!

My sweet Son-In-Love Christopher and Shanley Belle sent me this beautiful floral arrangement.  It has made my week!  I love it, especially the evergreens and Bells of Ireland.

I love the pretty plaid bow.  I did not decorate with any of our plaid decor this year; I'm happy to have just a wee bit of it here in our family room!

I will share our Christmas decor in a couple of days, so stay tuned!

Today's Advent Chrismon:

The five-pointed star represents two things: the Epiphany star the wise men followed; and the five wounds of Jesus on the cross.

“Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”  Matthew 2:2

Today's scripture:

Mary Visits Elizabeth

At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea,  where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth.  When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.  In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear!  But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?  As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.  Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”

Luke 1:39-45

Until next time...

Blessings!

  1. What a beautiful arrangement. That was so thoughtful of your daughter and Sul. You can enjoy that for several days! It's incredible to me that Christmas is just two weeks away.
