Sunday, July 22, 2012

I promise this is the last post I will write about MacKenzie-Childs and Aurora.  I think you will appreciate these photos, though.

While in King Ferry, we visited the King Ferry Winery, home of Treleaven wine.  The farm's original owner is a distant relative of Mr. Art @ Home.

We bought home six bottles of Treleaven wine.

We enjoyed Dori's Ice Cream and Treats.  I liked their centerpieces.  So cute....I love impatiens!

Love the boy and girl in the MacKenzie-Childs store.

  2. The town must have been a treat to visit. Great photos of the flowers and such a lovely daughter. I love the MC artsy boy and girl. I feel like I've been to the town of Aurora and a great sale. I keep looking for the treasures I should have brought home! That's how great your MC posts have been. I'll look forward to the posts from the first half of your trip………

  3. I only live 90 miles from Aurora, and really need to play tourist sometime soon! Love Dorie's! Can you believe I have never visited the Mackenzie-Childs Village Outpost? We usually just go to the Barn Sale, and then scoot home. Gotta fix that!

  4. I've enjoyed all of your M-C posts... although I didn't always have time to comment. Aurora is beautiful and you brought home lots of goodies to add to your collection. My favs are still the pink kitchen and the pink and white tub (upstairs). I think I'll go back to pin them :)

  6. I didn't realize you had gone to NY state for your road trip. You were so close to where I live (well about 4 hours away anyway). I will have to put that cute town on my list of places to visit. The gardens are pretty and what interesting boy and girl lamps there were - although truthfully it is the black-and-white chair in front of the boy lamp that really caught my attention - love it! What a fun road trip.
