Liz @ Rose Vignettes hosts Fresh Cut Fridays the first Friday of every month. This month's flower: larkspur.
Larkspur usually represents lightness or levity, so it is the perfect flower for summertime arrangements! Since we are traveling, I can't put together an arrangement of larkspur (or anything else) so I am cheating and letting Martha Stewart inspire me with some lovely summertime floral arrangements.
Please share your 4th of July floral creations with us @ Rose Vignettes.
Until next time...
Blessings!

This is an arrangement of larkspurs (top) and delphiniums. They are flower cousins, but there are some differences between the two.
I like the larkspurs and hydrangeas in the dark watering can.

Simple hydrangeas in small red vases completed last year's July 4th arrangements at our lake cabin.

ReplyDeleteLove the larkspur. I wondered what part of your house had deep blue walls until I read the text. I'm glad you have a little time at the lake. Your red-white-and-blue arrangement looks great.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Ricki. I'm still waiting for my hydrangeas to get larger.
ReplyDeleteThis is a neat post as I have never seen Larkspur! Very pretty! Hope you are having a fun trip! :)

ReplyDeleteI find it hard to believe that you are truly flower free anywhere...even a daisy in an pretty little Dixie cup?!
ReplyDeleteLove the colour of your hydrangea's! Hydrangea and pink roses are my first love in flowers!
