ReplyDeleteI keep waffling about what my summer reads will be (can't pick just ONE, you know), but I think I am going to tackle the Cassandra Clare books, and Barbara Kingsolver books that I haven't read yet.
What a fun giveaway! I'm wanting to read Insurgent, the follow up to Divergent this summer. I've got it reserved at the library so hopefully very, very soon!

Oh my gosh, I LOVED "Wrinkle in Time" when I was a kid. I've been reading one Anne Tyler novel after the next this summer. Currently working on "The Amateur Marriage."

DeleteI read all the time, but I have just obtained a copy of: Désirée: The Bestselling Story of Napoleon's First Love. It was first published in 1951 and I remember seeing the film which was made in 1954. (Please understand I did not see the film in 1954, but caught in to television many years ago). Jean Simmons and Marlon Brando (who else?) starred in the movie.

I love Kristine Hannah and Jodi Picoult, just finished Nineteen Minutes by JP and also The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Both are great reads, I like books that after you finishe them you still think about them days after!
