This post is all about pretty romantic rooms. I have posted a couple of these rooms before, but I think they are worth viewing again.
Normally I do not like dark walls, but the peacock blue fridge, chandeliers, and white bar stools more than make up for the darker charcoal walls.
The lovely shades of gray and white in this kitchen are drool worthy. The fluted apron-front sink is stunning, too. Even without the staging, this kitchen is so, so pretty.
All three kitchens from Country Living Magazine.
I love the pink and pale pine floors in this living room from Better Homes & Gardens Magazine.
Our dining room was painted this shade of ballet slipper and I miss it...from Country Living Magazine.
Shabbylicious! I love this dining room decorated by Sue Balmforth. From Bountiful Home.
If I had the room, I would have a wrapping desk in the corner of the art studio. From Better Homes and Gardens Magazine.
I love this zinc topped vanity. From Country Homes and Interiors Magazine.
I would stay in bed all day. From Rachel Ashwell's The Prairie Bed and Breakfast.

Which room is your favorite?
Until next time...

All of these images are fabulous...so pretty. I LOVE all of the kitchens, the soft colors and the shabbiness. And I love the shabby dining room, too! It's nice to start my day off dreaming! :-)

ReplyDeleteI like the second to last photo and like you I'm surprised because I'm not usually into dark walls either. I think you are right in the fridge, chandelier, and bar stools giving it life.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty romantic rooms, Ricki Jill, especially the first one. I have always loved the color pink. It is so elegant and sweet. Have a nice weekend.

I love that dining room table. I could easily live in that environment.

Wow, what inspiration. I love the feel of all those rooms. How about that pink fridge?! That would be so fun in a cottage!
ReplyDeleteI love the one with the zinc top vanity and the one with the ballet pink diningroom, all are beautiful though!

Beautiful images, my favorite is the first because of that amazing wallpaper;)
ReplyDeleteThe first room is my absolute favorite! I could imagine curling up with a blanket and a good book in that cheerful room.
ReplyDelete"14 Days of Love" sounds like a lot of fun, I'll be back!
I'm going to have to go with the pink fridge one... I was one of those 50's children with the pink metalt appliances to play on... Too cute!
