This year, two home decorating books were by far the best that I read:
Patina Style by Brooke and Steve Giannetti
and Shabby Chic Inspirations and Beautiful Spaces by Rachel Ashwell.
If you can only buy two home decorating books published in 2011, these are the two to buy. You can read my post about Patina Style here, and my post about Shabby Chic Inspirations here.
Did you read any home decorating books this year? Which ones are your favorites?
Until next time...
Happy reading!

The only decorating book I bought this year was Romantic Prairie Style. I have so many books that I haven't appreciated fully, I put a hold on buying more I am so tempted to get the latest by Rachel Ashwell as I have all of her previous books. Maybe...lol!
ReplyDeleteHappy New year to you and your sweet family!
XO,
Jane
I did get the Rachel Ashwell book.
ReplyDeleteand it is such and inspiration, I flip thru it every night before bed.
I have not seen the other one Patina Style yet.
But I really enjoyed "pale and interesting"
I have to keep myself from buying it every time I go to the book shop.
