I have been given some pretty crosses over the years. I thought I would share them today for the beginning of Holy Week and Mosaic Monday @ little red house.
What a great collection of crosses. I especially like that each one is so unique and unexpected. I love the scrolly work on the one on the top right and keep staring at the one on the bottom right to try and figure out what it is made of and love the patina of the bottom left one. So pretty!
That is a wonderful collection. Each one has its' own great characteristic ... I love the red one in the last mosaic. Such a timely topic for a mosaic. Wishing you a Happy Easter.
Thanks for dropping by to visit my Mosaic Monday post ... and yes, that bird is a Kookaburra. You were correct. They are a common everyday sight around my home.
You have a nice collection--I see a lot of blue--and your mosaic is lovely and perfect for this week. And thanks for visiting my blog...have a good week.
I really love the top left cross, well, then again I maybe think my favourite is the red one...they are really lovely, how special to have this collection.
DEAR RICKY HOLY WEEK BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY,YOUR COLECTION OF CROSES IS BEAUTIFUL YOUR MESSAGE BETTER THANK YOU.YES THERE ARE SOME ANGELS IN MY GARDEN YOU ARE ONE OF THEM..BLESSINGS.SANDRA
Beautiful crosses. I love the first simple wooden one and the pink and white mosaic one. I have a friend who took a bunch of old jewelry--pins, rings, necklaces and mounted them all together in the shape of a cross onto a velvet backed framed board. It's hard to explain but it turned out so beautiful. I wish I could replicate it but I'm not that creative. Happy Easter! Carole (Stapes)
I love having collections of things around the home. And in the garden for that matter. I just can't ever seem to complete my collection of pretty plants - there's always more!!
