Terry's Terrific Tassel Tutorial

Saturday, March 12, 2011

{No, it isn't alliteration Saturday...I just could not resist.}

Forever Decorating is one of my favorite blogs.  Terry is multi-talented, and I have learned a lot as her follower.  Recently, she posted a wonderful tutorial on how to make tassels. The bunny tassel she made is so cute; she could sell it for a fortune in Birmingham!  The tutorial is very well-written, and I enjoyed making tassels using Terry's instructions.  Please see Terry's Tassel Tutorial post for her instructions here.

Many months ago, I bought some MacKenzie-Childs pieces and parts on ebay.  I had no idea what to do with these little babies until I read Terry's tassel tutorial.  I had all the materials already on hand except for the thin white ribbon.

I am very pleased with the results!  I will use them in the dormitory (our huge guest room) but it is so dark up there this time of day I took the pictures in my sunny kitchen and dining room.

  4. Those are adorable! I never considered making tassels before (except for fabric ones, when I was a bellydancer, but those weren't as pretty). I'm going to have to give that a try now! :D
