The Boss

Tuesday, January 25, 2011

Our amazing West Highland White Terrier, Bonnie, is The Boss.  Even if Bruce Springsteen were in the room she would still be:  The Boss!!!  She is the sweetest, most loving dog. She is loaded with personality, loves running errands with me, and boating.  She loves trips to the lake, and she knows when we are packing-up to go.  Here are some pictures of Bonnie. By the way, she hates cold weather, and had much rather snooze in the sun on a warm spring day than play in the snow.  Come on, Bonnie!  Your homeland, Scotland, is "verra cold."

  5. My sister had 2 Westies--one was named MacDuff (not sure of the spelling)--I can't remember the other one's name. One of them bred with our dash-hound (how do you spell it???) and we had a mess of a puppy that we kept. We actually had about 9 puppies and we kept the largest. He was full full of it!

  9. I noticed on one of your earllier posts that you read Wolves of Andover. I'm reading that book now and I really like it. I'm about halfway through right now. What other books are you reading or have read this past year? Take care, Linda

  10. Y'all, I am loving reading these comments on the love of my life, LOL! Bonnie does not shed very much at all. We looked at adopting a Westie because my daughter and I have allergies and asthma. Actually, Westies have to be groomed in a special way where the hair is hand-pulled (it dos not hurt them). We have her groomed about every other month, and it is not that expensive ($45 at the high end, $30 at the low end, including bath).

  12. Love that 4th picture down--she looks so introspective, and the one of her and your daughter in the bed. So cute. I would love for Bonnie to meet Mo, my black miniature schnauzer. He looks like a mutt because we don't trim him like a schnauzer. It would be like Lady and the Tramp!
