Welcome to My Happy List!!!
This week I only have one item on the list.
Shelley is a member of the Birmingham Interscholastic Equestrian Team, and they competed this past weekend in Atlanta at an IEA Horse Show. There were around fifteen teams from Georgia, Alabama, and Florida competing at Four Seasons Farm. The horse show was very well run! I am so impressed with how sweet the girls are on this team. They're all a joy to be around! Clair and Pam are excellent coaches, and I'm also enjoying getting to know the team moms. :D
The girls have to arrive at the barn at 6:30 AM and prep the horses for the show.

You can tell she's happy...there were about a dozen riders in her class!

Until next time...

ReplyDeleteYay Shelley! What a fun thing to do and great way to travel and see other parts or states. I know it is a lot on the road but just think of all the memories she is going to have as well as her parents. I love seeing her smile. Love the pictures and Congratulations for the entire family and the special rider.
ReplyDeleteI see our Happy List is short, but intense too! Good for Shelley - she can work hard and play hard. What an amazing year she is having.

ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures. If I did not know better I would say the horse in the second picture was posing too by the looks in his eye.

ReplyDeleteOh how fun that Shelley was in a horse show! I love horses, and wish I had one growing up. I rode a wild one up at my brother-in-law's ranch years ago and got the ride of my life. I love the picture of her watching the other riders before her class.
