Fleurs de l'Amour
12" X 9"
oil on 3" gesso board

This painting took awhile!  To get the three dimensional qualities and reflective light right, there are about 20 glazes on some areas of the painting!

It's been a hectic day, and Shelley has youth activities at church this afternoon.  I'll visit your Happy List posts tonight once we get home!  :D    (I can't wait!)

Until next time...

Blessings!

  9. I gasped out loud when I saw your gorgeous painting. I was painting tonight and whenever I've been painting it sure gives me a new appreciation for great art, which yours truly is. You have such skill in creating depth in the petals and doing the glass vase and the composition. Love it all.

  14. Oh lovely! At first glance, I thought it was a photograph.

Now I'm not sure about your attitude, to my saying that. The last thing you may want, is for your lovely painting, to be taken for a photo. If I apologize, ahead of time. :-)

Regardless, it is a beautiful, beautiful painting!
