WWTKW is hosted by Mamarazzi, Crazymama, and Queso.  This week's questions are from Crazymama!

{1} What is your go to color if you paint your nails? do your toes and fingernails match?
{2} Have you ever gone for a mani/pedi? how often do you go?
{3} Do you color your hair? do you have a salon do it or do you do it yourself?
{4} Facials...have you ever had one?
{5} Would you or have you ever done botox?
{6} Beauty knows no pain, do you believe in waxing, electrolisis, eyelash extentions, anti-aging creams, micro-dermabrasion, peels, botox?

1.     Here are my all-time favorite picks for nail color:

Revlon's Cherries in the Snow for fingers

Chanel's Vamp for toes

Nothing in my life ever really matches.  Well, rarely.....

2.     Yes.  I might get a mani/pedi once, maybe twice a year, but not very often.  I spend too much money on my hair!  When I do get my nails done, I like to use OPI's "I'm Not Really A Waitress" red.

Got to love this classic red!

3.      I have my hair colored at an Aveda salon.  Their color lasts longer, and it is not as harsh on my hair.  Right now I have light blonde, copper, and stop sign red highlights.  I think your hair should look like it has been colored if you pay for it.  If you want your hair to look "natural," then leave it alone!  Do not color it.  ;P

Right now I have all three highlights in my hair.  My natural hair color is a dark strawberry blonde, and is very close to the first copper color.

4.     Yes, I have had facials, but I have to be careful with them because I have incredibly sensitive skin.  I have used the Clinique 3-step system since I was thirteen, and my skin is in pretty good condition.  I also use Oil of Olay's Complete daily Moisturizer (with SPF) for Sensitive Skin.

5.     Let's see....inject a dangerous toxin that close to my brain?  I *so* don't think so.  That's why I have bangs!

6.     Yes, Virginia:  all of these things exist!  ;P  But seriously, the most important things for your skin are exfoliation and sunscreen everyday.  I do not use anti-aging moisturizers.  If my skin is very dry to to skiing or some other reason, I might add Clinique's Moisture Surge on top of the three step program.  I rarely buy it because it is usually in those free gifts when I buy the other products.

Until next time...

Blessings!

  2. For years I used that Dramatically Different lotion but have gotten out of the habit. I think I need to go back to it because it really makes a difference!

  3. Love those nail colors, but I'd have to use them on my toes to get the polish to last.

  5. fabulous colors. for hair and nails. maybe i need to go back and add a pic to my post. i totally color my hair a natural color. it has some violet undertones but it's otherwise my natural color, i just cover gray. i'd do something totally wild like fuchsia or blue streaks but if it's not done right it looks cheap and my hair is so dark to lighten it enough to see it it would trash my hair.

i love gift with purchase. lancome has some amazing anti aging stuff in this last one. i do clinique lipstick so i get their gifts too. love it.

  6. Wow, this is pretty personal and I LOVE IT!! Okay, so, thanks for the new nail polish colours...check. And, if you are a fan of Clinique I am curious if you use Elixir? I have to admit that I have been using that for at least 20 years!! Great products Clinique!

  8. Oooh nice colours for nail polish! I had a mani at my SIL's bachelorette a few weeks ago and I got the OPI "I'm Not Really a Waitress"...it was gorgeous!

I'm due to have my blonde highlights put back in in a few weeks, now you've got me contemplating throwing some red in there too...hmmm...

  14. Love the dark Chanel nail polish. I hear the dark colors are getting to be old news, but I think they look great on short and long nails.

I bet you hair looks wonderful with the three shades...it looks more natural if you use more than one. I have highlights and low lights. I agree that if you have your hair colored, it should look like it...who is a real blonde anyway?!

  15. I have used Clinique since I was a teenager, too. It works great, especially for those of us with sensitive skin. I loved your answer about the botox. I agree, I don't need any funny stuff injected near my brain. It's funny enough on its own :)

  17. I love the nail polish colours you shared. The chanel is so dramatic and the opi is so fun! And I totally agree about getting your hair done, when I used to get mine done, I didn't want it to look like it did walking in to the salon!
