Happy Tuesday, My Lovelies! I hope that your week is going well so far.
Today I'm sharing a few of our Halloween decorations. I really don't like Halloween very much...I usually just stick with candy corn and mums!
I haven't decorated for autumn per se because we have had the most beautiful summer and early fall. The summer was fairly mild here in Central Alabama, and the we've had lots of rain which is making our early autumn spectacular!
I've put out a few of my favorite pumpkin paintings.
I have mini pumpkins in several rooms. These are in the kitchen in a muffin baker.
Mr. Sketchy Reader bought the cauldron for me a couple of years ago for Christmas. He thought it was Courtly Check, and had no idea it's a Halloween piece, LOL!

I love football mums. They remind me of homecoming when I was in high school!
Cinderella's carriage at midnight
I prefer things like this for Halloween because they are less scary!
I am thinking about decorating for Christmas early this year, shortly after Halloween and not taking the Thanksgiving down from the attic. I'm really looking forward to Christmas this year! Plus, if I get all the decor and shopping done early, I can really enjoy the Advent Season.
Do you decorate for Halloween?
Until next time...
Blessings!

Everything looks so cute Ricki Jill! I am not fond of the gory scary stuff, but I love the cute side of Halloween! I haven't pulled any Halloween stuff out yet, I guess I better get busy! I love your cauldron surrounded by the witch hats {are they Mudd Pie?} I love the Cinderella pumpkin coach too!

I am a lot like you RJ, I don't do a lot for fall and Halloween. I love how you use a lot of mini boos and keep it so cute, like the cinderella carriage and fall colors. I have a lot of pumpkins outside and the mini boos inside. I think your cauldron takes center stage, such a great centerpiece.
ReplyDeleteLove your sweet halloween vignette. I do not do much for Halloween more fall decor. I do have a little angel witch in my kitchen but that is about all the Halloween decor I do. Happy Wednesday. xoxo
ReplyDeleteVery festive!! Funny story about your cauldron, but its a great piece! I adore your little thistle vase! Enjoy the fall...and your cute decor!
ReplyDeleteRicki Jill what a great display. Everything is so special for Fall and Halloween. Thank You for sharing.

I don't get into Halloween just not something my generation do much
ReplyDeleteToo funny about your guy buying the cauldron, sounds like something my guy would do. It fits perfectly with how you decorate, though, and it all looks very inviting. I love your small MC vases, both the thistle and the Keukenhof (and the stems that look like thistle, is it sea holly? idk). I'm not keen on decorating for Halloween much either, Ricki. I created a tablescape without horror, more whimsy, and that's it. I've already decorated our antique booth spaces for Christmas, so I may go early with home too. Little lights alone are worth it!
ReplyDeleteI decorate for fall (which stays up through Thanksgiving) and posted those today. I have a couple of Halloweenies there but I will put out a few more in another week or so and take those down on November 1. Your things are darling -- I love your painting and the style. The minis in the muffin tin are inspired! And Cinderella's coach is a gem! Much to love here!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteIt all looks lovely. I will be decoration for Halloween on Saturday. :-)
RJ, it all looks festive. I love Halloween, but not the gory side that some focus on. Like you candy corn sums it up for me. I love pumpkins, fall florals, good witches with their black kitties, and fun vintage pieces when I find them. This year, I've not put much out as we won't have any parties, but a few things came out to make it festive. Love th look of your table, and I giggled about the CC claudron.
ReplyDeleteI'm chuckling about Mr. Sketchy Reader buying the cauldron for Christmas. Nothing wrong with that...he shopped early :-) Love your festive decor. I put a sophisticated Halloween wreath on my front door today...thanks to my neighbor who is very gifted in floral design. It's not scary at all. I don't do scary either.
