Happy First Friday of Summer! School's out for summer, and it's time of compile those Summer Reading Lists! Here's mine:
These nine are a very good start, and I've left some wiggle room for the books I receive from the Books 'n' Bloggers Swap.
You can keep up with current reads on my sidebar. I'm reading Written in My Heart's Own Blood, and it's exceeded my expectations so far.
What's on your Summer Reading List?

So many wonderful books to read on these hot summer days. Thanks for the party my friend! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteHi Ricki, I've got Goldfinch on my night stand. I was worried about the length but I think it will be a quicker read than I initially thought. xxL
ReplyDeleteI like your choices. Right now I am reading Rhys Bowen's A Royal Pain (set in 1932, fun, heroine who is 34th in line to the throne, solves mysteries). Also A Question of Belief, mystery series set in Venice and At Home in France (memoir) and of course many more.
ReplyDeleteRJ,
ReplyDeleteI'm in book 2 of Game of Thrones. I hope to start the 2nd RK Rowling murder mystery...she uses an alias name but I can't remember what it is at the moment.
Happy reading.
Karen
I just downloaded The Goldfinch on my iPad, but we leave on vacation in 3 weeks so I am saving it to read on the plane . . . on the beach . . .
ReplyDeleteI will check out more of your choices because I think I will have lots of reading time in the 10 days we are gone.
Oooh, I wish I had enough time to read all of those! We are heading to the mountains for some cooler air next week, so I'll have some time to enjoy the luxury of reading! Happy weekend Ricki Jill. Thanks for your visit over at my blog today too.
ReplyDeletexo Ciao bella, Suzanne
Some very interesting books. I wonder if the Stardust is like the movie they made a few years ago.Clare Dane was in it.
ReplyDeleteI have been carrying The Witch of Portobello around in my purse for months and not reading it. What is wrong with me!?!?! lol
ReplyDeleteI will be reading this summer too! Great reads, thank you for sharing. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat list! The Witch of Portobello is on my list, too. And I loved Stardust (the book and movie are both excellent, though they take different subtexts to the same story). I can't wait to read how you like all of these!
ReplyDeleteGreat list RJ. I hope I can get a little reading in this summer, but most of the reading I do is in the long winter months.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful week !
hugs from here...
I created my summer reading list too. No way I'll get to all of them, but at least the list is out there!
