I am liking these rooms right now.  I think the ottomans are fun. Images are from Anthropologie.

What do you think?  Do you like ottomans?  Are they practical or impractical?

You still have a few days left to enter my wallpaper contest.  The prize is not wallpaper, but some neat Anthropologie prizes.  The link for the contest is here.

Until next time...

Blessings!

  1. I love ottomans, especially when they're fun like these! It's a great way to add a little whimsy or color to a space without going crazy.

  3. Good Morning Ricki Jill Sweetie...
Oh my, yes I do love ottomans. I remember when we had them back when I was a kid, we called them footstools, as that is what they were mainly used for.

In the rooms today they are eye candy as they have sure fancied them up. Colors and patterns and we actually sit on them now. If you don't sit, you add a tray and make an ambiance for the room. Imagine that? Yep, I am all about the ottomans. LOVE them.

I missed you contest, so I popped over and played along in the fun. Have a glorious week sweet friend. Many hugs and much love from Phoenix, Sherry

  6. I like ottomans too Ricki. They are space saving and versatile too. I actually use them to accentuate or complement the colors in my room. In the Philippines though we have ottomans that can serve as storage boxes. Perhaps you can consider one too. Have a great day ahead!

  8. I love them. Use mine to make a recliner in the den all the time. And what is with the name. Do they have their own empire?

  9. I love both of these rooms too, they look confortable! I love ottomans, and I have two large ones, but they are not very cool compared to these!

  11. Y'know I think those are a little loud for my house (they look lovely in the room in the picture), but you can't go wrong with ottomans. Everyone can have a seat.

  12. I love that it's a pop of color! I think they are great for propping your feet up but not so great for a chair if its more than a few mins. But I guess it always beats sitting on the floor!

  13. I love the colorful bedspread. Anthropologie is such a fun store to browse around in. Nel did a Harry Potter post, and I think you might enjoy it since your kids like it as well. Have a great week.

  14. Ottomans are cool. I especially like them when I can put something inside - like maybe a knitting project. ;)

  17. I like them. I especially like the ones with a lid that lifts off and you can store stuff inside. I'm always needing more storage space. :)
