We recently redecorated Shelley's bedroom. Shelley loves her school, so she chose one of her school's colors, a pretty blue, as her inspiration. We chose Benjamin Moore's "Airway" for the walls. Next, she found some bed linens from Rachel Ashwell's Simply Shabby Chic line at Target.

We added an old desk that belonged to me for her laptop. We added a mirror so she can also use it as a vanity. The Mosaicwares mirror we bought locally. I moved the MacKenzie-Childs hanging lamp from another room.

We installed a curtain cable system to hang her horse show ribbons. On the wall below, I painted a chalkboard using chalkboard paint.

Shelley loves the movie The Clique, and she was inspired by Massie Block's room. Massie's inspiration for her room was her white Mac computer and iPod. So we painted most of Shelley's furniture white. We left her bed green for the green accents in her bedding. Massie had an armoire with a dress form inside for putting together the outfit du jour. Shelley does not have room for the armoire because her room is tiny, but she does have room for the dress form. We used black and white polka dots as an accent because they are her school's colors along with the blue.

I think Shelley's room is a lot of fun. She loves it, and so do her friends! Bonnie, our sweet Westie, loves to hang-out in there, too!
Until next time...
Blessings!

We also added some old tin picture frames, and some picture frames made from salvaged wood and wallpaper.
The black and white polka dotted door hanging is from PBTeen, as are all the polka dotted accessories.
