Happy Monday, My Lovelies! Do you like Christmas crackers? Are they a tradition in your home? They are in ours, and sometimes I forget to put them out until New Year's Eve, LOL!
This year I had a hard time finding them in colors and patterns I wanted. I saw many beautiful ones in traditional colors and plaids, but not any that would look good with our pink-themed dining room. Fortunately I happened to be at Anthropologie last week, and I found these:
I love the colors of these.
Crackers are fun because you rip them open and there's a little charge or something in there that *pops* Inside you'll find paper crowns and a couple little gifts. Everyone must wear a paper crown! It's a rule! ;P
Here are a few more photos. Usually they're placed across the plate or sometimes above the plate.
In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to their own town to register.
So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.
Luke 2:1-5
Until next time...
Blessings!

ReplyDeleteThese are really pretty crackers. I put them at the place setting on Christmas Eve. I found some this year that have little candies in them for the gifts. xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove them
ReplyDeleteBeautiful crackers for your pretty table, Ricki Jill. Your crimson is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love crackers! They're such fun and these are especially pretty. I'm glad you found ones that work with your theme this year. Rick will cooperate pretty well with the hats but Kevin -- not so much. I'm hoping we can do it with the toddlers this year. I think they might like the hats!
ReplyDeleteThis just came in my mailbox today! Anyway, we had crackers at my birthday dinner, my first time with them and they were so much fun! That's cool that you found ones to coordinate with your pink color scheme this year!
