The Candle of Joy

It's been nice pondering joy this weekend as it has been rainy, foggy, and very dark.  But that's one of the mysteries of Christianity:  finding joy in every circumstance.  This can't be explained through logic because it's illogical: It can only be explained through faith.

Today's scripture reading is from the Amplified Bible:

"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Listen carefully, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will call his name Immanuel (God with us)."
Isaiah 7:14

I hope you have a very blessed and holy day today.  Peace!

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
John 8:12

Until next time...

Blessings!
