Happy Wednesday, Sweet Bloggy Friends! I hope you have a great day. I wanted to share with you a few of the decorations from my birthday party, and my favorite gift. We did not celebrate on the big day because I didn't want anything to detract from Shanley Belle's graduation. These days I truly treasure every moment when I have both girls together with me. With one daughter working in a clinic and the other working at a barn this summer, those moments are few and far between!
The girls love the Molly Hatch vases we bought at Anthropologie several years ago. Both girls study French in school (Shanley is a French minor) so they love anything with the Marie Antoinette quote. But I although remind the girls that always attributed to the ill-fated French queen, she probably never said it.
Now on to my favorite gift...Notice the tissue paper? It's from Shabby Chic! My sweet family bought me some of the pretty new napkin designs in the Ditsy Floral range. I really like the blue prints.
These are a few of the Shabby Chic napkins I already had from a different range. They are so, so soft and launder very well.
I know I'll get just as much use out of the new napkins as the old. The sweet prints make me smile!
Happy Birthday! Your new napkins are going to make pretty table settings. What a lovely gift! My Molly Hatch vases like your two are some of my favorites. Sad to say I have them packed away in storage at the moment. Seeing yours filled with flowers makes me want to run over to the storage unit and retrieve them. So happy to see you posting again.
Welcome back RJ, missed you! Happy Birthday!!! I love your pretty new napkins, pretty color and patterns. I love all your MH vases, I have the "Let Them Eat Cake" and I love it. Love yours with the flowers. Congratulations, I know you are so proud of your daughter. Seems you were moving her in only yesterday, yes, it goes by in a flash. Glad you enjoyed your year home schooling, what a decision that was. Have a wonderful summer...........
