Monthly Goals for January
For January, I hope to accomplish the following:
1. Purge all art and craft supplies and re-organize them.2. Walk and/or do thirty minutes on the elliptical or an hour on the treadmill. 3. Organize all books and make a donation to our local library. 4. Purge and better organize pantry and donate items to a food closet.5. Join some reading challenges on Goodreads.
This year I'm focusing on purging and donating. We have so much that those in need can use, mostly things the girls have outgrown.
What are your plans for January?
Until next time...
Blessings!
Ricki Jill
Those are on my list too! Thanks for making it for me! :-)
ReplyDeleteThose are some great goals. I need to do some DEEP purging of my closet. I am just putting it off for a rainy blah weekend.
ReplyDeleteI too plan to purge and clean my creative space.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your purge - it is so hard to let go.
I haven't made any real resolutions just yet but they are pretty much along the lines of the what you have here. An hour on the treadmill is awesome. I need to exercise more. Your package came today. Thank you so much. You are such a sweetie.
ReplyDeleteI set my goals weekly, and yesterday I cleaned out the top drawer of my desk. Tossed things I did not need, and it is so organized now ;o) Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteYour plans are very similar to mine. I have some projects that have been on the back burner for 5 or 6 months too that need to be completed. I'm going to check out Goodreads. Right now I'm reading the new Fannie Flagg book. :)
ReplyDeleteThose are fantastic goals! You can totally get them done! :D
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeletePURGE! And keep up with my notebook organizer.
ReplyDeleteActually had not thought of January goals, but your ideas are awesome.
ReplyDeleteWhen will any of us, get fully purged, of all the things which we don't really, really want, need or love? Probably never. -grin- But that's no reason to not keep at it!!!!
Good luck to you and Hooray for your intentions!
January is always my purge month. It seems to go with taking down the Christmas decorations. I love to clean closets as well and get them more organized. I will say that purging over the years has gotten me to a better place in my home. I love the more paired down look. I really don't need all the "stuff" I once thought I did. It was more of a want than a need.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year RJ.
Purging and donating is a great way to bring change into your life! I love these goals, and good luck (and have fun!). :D
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, RJ! Sounds like you're going to be a busy gal. I've just been cleaning out my scrap room - not that I scrapbook anymore - what a mess but I'm almost there! Here's to another year of blogging with you.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I really need to come up with some goals for January, and for the year really. Would you believe I haven't thought about it much?
ReplyDeleteHappy New year sweetie. Big Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteIt's all about out with the old and in with the new. But I especially like that your goals involve donating rather than throwing away what doesn't work for your home anymore.
ReplyDeleteI think that purging sounds like a good idea, I really need to purge and organize my areas!
ReplyDeleteJanuary is always a good time to purge stuff and donate. Good luck this month!
