Since after lunch I've been curled-up by the fire reading blogs and getting inspired. Shanley Belle is home for Christmas Break, and we want to feather the nest and deck the halls even more this week! Here are some posts that I've found inspiring this week.
1. First of all, thanks to Jane for coming through for me! You really must check-out her recipe for Hot Buttered Rum. Yum!
The hot buttered rum is stored in the fridge in a crock.
2. Linda made the cutest snowman cheese ball. He makes me smile!
3. No one feathers the nest like Mary, and I really love her hot cocoa post this week!
4. Su's delightful cottage in the desert is all decked-out for Christmas, and I *heart* it!
5. Step inside June's Woodsy White Christmas Winter Wonderland. I'm a new follower of hers, and I'm enjoying her inspiring and lovely blog!
6. Caroline's visions of sugar plums matchbox made me smile.
7. Beth made Pfeffernüsse and still had time do create these awesome nails!
8. I like Liz's nails, too!
We are having fun on Pinterest, blogs, and watching Hallmark Channel sappy Christmas movies. What a great day!
What have you been doing this afternoon?
Read what's inspiring others @ The Weekly Round-up. Thanks for hosting, Angie and Aubrey!
Until next time...
Blessings!

Hi RJ! I'm so happy to meet you!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for featuring my woodsy Christmas post. Your blog is beautiful and I have so enjoyed looking around here. I love your sweet little Penne, I love IGs, I had a whippet and greyhound for years and there is no sweeter dogs in the world than these precious sighthounds.
How fun! Thank you so much for the shout out! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to check out Beth's candy cane nails and the we are off to see our

Thank you, Ricki. That's so sweet of you.
ReplyDeleteI love your concept too! I see so many beautiful or clever ideas on the blogs, and it would be kind to give them a mention. XOXO
Hi Ricki Jill, Thanks for sharing my Candy Cane Cocoa! I'm ready to curl up on the sofa in front of the tree and watch some Christmas movies :) Enjoy your time decking the halls this week!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful Christmasy foods, decor and fashion!
ReplyDeleteI've been loving on the two little 9 year old dachshund brothers we adopted yesterday!
Ricki Jill, I have up the christmas table on my blog that I set with the pink Dwarf Pine 1950s plates I told you about a few months ago! I think it turned out pretty!
I baked cookies from 9:30 this morning until around 3:30...not sure if I have anything decent to show for it...still some frosting to do! Love your links!
ReplyDeleteGoing to check out Laughing With Angels...looks lovely. That snowman cheese ball may end up at my house on Christmas Eve!
ReplyDeleteI made cookies for a Cookie Exchange and then we went to the planning party for our New Year's Eve Progressive Dinner. Our entire street gets together on New Year's Eve. We laugh because every single person at the planning meeting was together yesterday for a Christmas party at a local restaurant. Our street is like a big family that enjoys spending lots of time together.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the time with your daughter at home. That will go quickly.
And now, I am off to check out the blog posts you featured.
A round up that appeals to all the senses, yummy, pretty and dazzling!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week!
