I confess...
I confess that I forgot to read my two links from Literary Friday last week. I'm mortified! WTH??? I am so, so sorry, Beth and Caroline!
I confess...
I confess that I love this photo of this vintage French kitchen!
*le sigh*
Check out the copper sink!
I confess...
I confess that my time management skills have been nonexistent lately....There have been far too many things crammed into this month, and it's stressful! Shelley only has exams next week, and she will be out. I confess that I'm happy for her because this year has been difficult to say the very least.
I confess...
I confess that I can't wait to get the heck out of town for our beach trip! We need to escape. Badly.
One of several Airstreams at Seaside, Florida.
I confess...
I confess that one of my favorite Indie bookstores is at Seaside. I will probably be bad. Very. Bad. Which will mean that I'll even have more to confess!
I confess...
I confess that I skipped Pilates today because I'm overwhelmed with chores.
I confess...
I confess that I still haven't planted our containers yet. I'm so embarrassed! Truly, I am! Our house screams, "Stay away! We don't want you here!" :/ Since it seems that summer is going to be extremely busy, too, I'm tempted to plant just one really large container for our entry and that's it. Maybe something like this one:

I feel so much better. Confession is good for the soul!
Fess-up at Aubrey's blog,
High-Heeled Love!
Until next time...
Blessings!

Since you have confessed, I can do the same. I have everything started and nothing finished. I need some focus and organization before I sink this ship! By the way, you never need to confess excess in a book store. Those are necessities, not splurges!
ReplyDeleteI need to google Seaside...I'm not sure where it is! But I'm glad you have a vacay planned soon! What fun!
ReplyDeleteI looked it up and see where it is now. That's a beautiful area. I've been there but it's been a few years! Enjoy your afternoon!
ReplyDeleteyou're doing just fine, now worries, your confessions are all quite harmless and very common with us all, we seem to all have the same problems, not enough hours in the day sometimes, the beach get away will recharge your soul
ReplyDeleteHave a good time on your beach trip...no need for confessions from there: "What happens in Seaside, stays in Seaside". Eat something really scrumptious for me from the bakery at the little grocery store there.
ReplyDeleteAck! I confess I am having a lot of difficulty getting almost anything useful done. I confess that two weeks of laundry is done but not even remotely put away. I confess that I am low on inspiration but home that three days off in a row will rejuvenate me.
ReplyDeleteNothing like the feeling after fessing up! I’ve been busy too, I’ve neglected so much at home since the first of the year. I need to focus on my must do list at home. It needs it!
ReplyDeleteOh I could have done without seeing those pics of Seaside and Sundogs! Soon I hope we well get to go too.
Have a lovely weekend,
Emily
I think everyone should have a personal assistant, than we could get everything done that we want and need... now just how to get one for free :)
ReplyDeleteI hope that you have a great trip!
It's ok, I forget sometimes too... As long as you read them when you remember! :D
ReplyDeleteAlso I need a beach trip stat!
No worries, sweetie- real life is often very time consuming. :)
ReplyDeleteI love a copper sink *le sigh*
And have a wonderful, and bookie, trip!
All is forgiven by she who can't even remember to put stuff on the to-do list, let alone get it done!
ReplyDeleteSo glad Shelley will be done soon. I know this year has been very trying to say the least. I hope you all have fun at the beach, I miss it so much and I really want to go back one day soon when all the evil is behind me! I'm very jealous!! LOL, Enjoy and chill and read...
ReplyDeleteI confess I don't do Pilates but really need to and that I can create as much damage in a bookstore as you. And finally, I may be doing the one flower pot route myself...all for the same reasons as you!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
I LOVE indie bookstores. They really suck me in. Sadly we don't really have one nearby anymore. Breaks my heart when they close.
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic time at the beach. I could use a little ocean time.
I ,love anything french love that kitchen. I need to do a Friday confessional. I hope you get everything you need to get done done. I also hope you get your beach vacation. Tat sure sounds nice right about now.
ReplyDeleteWhere do you go to the beach at? I wish we lived closer to the coast. Last year's vacation was the best and seeing the ocean was so great! I wish we could do it again.
ReplyDeleteThe planter you might do is beautiful.
Enjoy your get away.
Bless you child you are forgiven..............ok if I was catholic that would mean more but I am not so it doesn't mean much........lol
ReplyDeleteOh yeah I love the old kitchen too
ReplyDeleteConsider that you are totally forgiven, my dear! I'm am truly old enough to do that, you know. Also, remember, you are so not alone in any of these -- we are all hit with "over-whelmness" from time to time!
ReplyDeleteA beach trip.......now that sounds like a good idea. Reading, reading, reading, and early sunset walks on the beach. Hopefully you'll be there soon. Busy, busy here too! ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteI love the copper sink. It's fantastic! This is why we chose copper countertops for my office. And a single planter like that would be great.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up for Friday Confessional. Hope you're having a fabulous week so far.
Oh I love that sink!
