a storybook life
" Then you have to remember to be thankful; but in May one simply can't help being thankful... that they are alive, if for nothing else. I feel exactly as Eve must have felt in the garden of Eden before the trouble began. "~L.M. Montgomery Anne of Avonlea
Thanks a latte for reading my blog!
Green is my favorite color (with orange a close second) so I love this so much!
ReplyDeleteLove love love the ceiling. It was the first thing I saw when your post loaded and I said ahhh. Lovely! Are you putting green in your kitchen re-do?
ReplyDeleteI might get tired of such a bright green island, but I adore it at first glance! Gotta love that plate wall -- I have to do that somewhere!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a 1970s dollhouse.
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of green since I grew up in the era of olive green kitchens, LOL

I love the layout of this kitchen and this is a dream island. A fine Irish tribute with the "green"! I think the wallpaper on the ceiling is pretty, I just don't like it on the ceiling.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure enjoying our sunny today!

Love the wallpaper, but not so much on the ceiling. I think it would make me dizzy. This is a beautiful room for St. Paddy's Day. '-)
ReplyDeleteI love the island and the plates on the wall. The colors are so refreshing. I am kind of digging the wallpaper on the ceiling. I do not think I would have done it, but I am loving it.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I LOVE this green kitchen. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI really like the green island and the wall paper on the ceiling. It's really crisp and bright. Loving that plate wall too.
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly, I love it. I am not normally a fan of green but I do like this a lot. Now, as far as the wallpapered ceiling? I would have to think long and hard about that one. Not sure...
ReplyDeleteOh yes that is fabulous...I love green and so cheery!
ReplyDeleteI think the wallpaper is whimsical and while I wouldn't want to live with it- I think it is kind of cute. It does draw the ceiling down though- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI am not really a green fan, but love the ceiling and the plate wall.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Laura
This color of green is one of my favorite colors. Love the wallpaper on the ceiling. What don't I like about this kitchen, nothing!! Love it.
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I would never do it myself, but I love that wallpaper on the ceiling!!
ReplyDeleteI love it all, and am ready to move now...thanks ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that photo, but I think in actual fact I would find it irritating to have something that patterned overhead.
ReplyDeleteGreen is usually not my go-to color but I LOVE this!
ReplyDeleteEspecially that island.
:)
Bloody lovely
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty!
ReplyDelete-chuckle- I read a comment by you, over on "BJ's" blog... ("Since we're stuck with the little dick-tator another couple of years or so, I admit that I'm looking forward to watching his next temper tantrum") And I had to come over and say, I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletePerhaps I should replace my terms of BO and Our Glorious Leader, with THE LITTLE DICK-TATOR!!!!! Brilliant!!!!

I don't care for that shade of green, but wallpaper (especially simple, like that) on the ceiling seems very whimsical and fun. As long as the ceilings are tall!
