Welcome to My Happy List! :D This week's list is {mostly} about friends.
My Happy List
1. We enjoyed spending time with friends during a variety of occasions last week. We ate Cajun food with another family (3 siblings) from Louisiana and their spouses. The company was even better than the food, and that's saying something! I also met with my book club where we discussed books and had an after Christmas "regift" party. One of the highlights of the meeting was the delicious peach sangria. It wasn't too sweet, and I want to make some to serve at future parties. Spending time with fun friends make me so, so happy!
This recipe is very close to what we drank Thursday night.
2. Speaking of friends, we had a group of friends extend us the kindest courtesy. I'm so touched, but I can't share it with you until next week. ;P {I'm a terrible tease, aren't I?} Sweet, thoughtful friends make oh, so very happy! I want to share this Valentine card with them:
Vintage Valentines make me happy, too!
3. I want this for Valentine's Day. Reckon I'll get it? :/
from Neiman Marcus
Sorry....that was random of me, but what a cute photo! Cute photos make me *happy*
4. Guess who's coming back to General Hospital? *squee* Genie Francis!!!! When I was in college, my sorority would schedule classes around Days of Our Lives and General Hospital. Seriously, General Hospital was better than anything on prime time during the mid to late eighties. I haven't really watched it in twenty years, but I'll DVR it now. :D
Luke & Laura
5. Guess what I'm really loving right now? Caster sugar! It's great for hot and cold beverages. And here's a tip: You can make your own in a food processor, but let the dust settle before you transfer it to a container. :D
Share your happy. This is a linky!
Until next time...
Blessings!
Ricki Jill

Sorry that I missed linking up yesterday. I can't complain, but I am slammed with new business at work this week. It's a good problem to have. Hopefully I'll catch up and get in on the Happy List next week.
