Roll Tide!!! The Crimson Tide is the SEC Champion, defeating Georgia 32 ~ 28. The SEC is by far the toughest conference in the country, so this is a huge victory for Alabama. We're Miami bound to play Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship Game on January 7, 2013.
Bring it, Notre Dame. Bring. It.
We'll be there. Alabama and Notre Dame are the two biggest names in college football.

So are you going to the game? My husband and son are alumni of Notre Dame. Both my kids are going but my husband isn't sure. Tickets right now are going for $1800.00! My family bleeds blue and gold. My husband has been to every home game (and many away games as well) for the past 20 years. We started taking our kids when they were very young. Even the years when we were terrible. :o) One thing is for sure. It will be a great game.
ReplyDeleteOh yes I can tell you are excited and I LOVE that from one football lover to another WOHOO>>EEE
ReplyDeleteGood luck in January :0
Oh dear, you and I will be on opposite sides here. I am a big ND fan. I went to Barat College and we were always encouraged to cheer for Notre Dame. Should be a great game.

It's hard for me to get my mind around being so excited about a football game (we are just so not into sports in our family), but I sure am glad that you have this fun event to focus on. I loved your little petit fours and the candy canes. Did they just happen to be in Alabama colours or do they make them especially for the event?
ReplyDeleteHi Ricki Jill, From one U of A family to your AL family, Roll Tide! We are not going to the game but we will be watching with a house full of Crimson Tide Fans in T-Town! Love your tribute here to our U of A and the SEC Champs of 2012!!!

I saw the end of the game. Awfully glad Georgia didn't win.
ReplyDeleteGO SEC! I'm a Gamecocks fan but I can't stand Georgia so if SC isn't going to make it in (which is crap because we had a super hard schedule this year and we crushed Georgia) I'm absolutely going to go BAMA!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! What a great game. Rolltide! I'm excited too.
