Rest in Peace

Saturday, November 10, 2012

My mother-in-law, Marjorie Treleaven, passed away this morning.  My husband is devastated. You might remember that my father-in-law passed away on July 23rd.  I truly don't know when I'll be back, but I'll make an announcement about My Happy List later on today.

Please be in prayer for our family.  My youngest daughter Shelley is taking it very hard.

Until next time...

Blessings!
Ricki Jill

  3. Oh Ricki Jill, I'm so sorry. As soon as I read that your mother-in-law passed away I remembered about your father-in-law. Your poor husband - what a shock. And here you were with some kind of flu thing this weekend too. Take care of yourself and your family. If there is anything I can do, let me know. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

I know exactly how devastated your husband must be. I was totally lost after losing my father. I'll be anxious to see you post again. I'll be thinking of you.

  38. The death of a parent is never an easy thing, and grief is amazingly unpredictable and long-lasting, but I think she was blessed to have such a close and loving family, and I am certain that both of your husband's parents are watching your family in love, and simply waiting for the time when you can all be united again. *hugs* My sympathies to you all and, as always, let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

  41. It takes a long time to recover from the loss of a dear loved one; but when you lose both in such a short period, there isn't enough time to heal emotionally. You just take care of your family, and my prayers are with you.

    Hugs,
    Carol

  42. Oh my goodness Ricki, I somehow missed this post.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother-in-law. It's terrible to have lost both of them within such a short period of time, but take comfort in the thought that at least she is with your father-in-law now. Take care. It's going to take alot of time before it gets better. I will keep you & your family in my thoughts & prayers. My heart goes out to all of you.
