.....to move Shanley Belle into her apartment at the University of Alabama.
I have had her home for three solid months, so it is difficult to say goodbye! *sadface*
I will be back on Tuesday with a rather long Happy List!
Until next time...
Blessings!

I can honestly say I know what this is like. I have two moving out at the same time this summer and it is not easy. New memories ahead is how I am looking at it.
ReplyDeleteOh My Ricki,
ReplyDeleteLittle Shanley is just "Cute as a Button"!!! Bring a large hankie for all those tears...
Love and Hugs,
Donna
Oh what a little doll! I can only imagine how you feel. Hold on to her really tight for the next couple of days.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to T-Town Shanley Bell! I know your mom is very sad this weekend. Lots of hugs and tears I'm sure…………..

That picture is just adorable. The biggest smile ever. I know I don't want school to start either. I love having the girls home with me.
ReplyDeleteI remember those sad days of dropping them off at college. Enjoy your few days together.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs,
Laura
So adorable, this just proves how time flies, right?
ReplyDeleteI cried like a baby last night watching toy story 3 with my little one. It made me fast forward to when he will be leaving for college, too soon too soon.
Have a great time!
Amy
As I told my mom every time I went back to college in the Fall....this only means it's more special when we next get to spend time together. :)
ReplyDeleteBest of luck to her with this upcoming semester/quarter, and hopefully all else is going well!
We have three more years before we may be faced with this...sniff, sniff! LOVE the pic!
ReplyDeleteaw hugs
ReplyDeleteShe is sure adorable at 3 years and I'm sure she is lovely as a young adult...best of everything to your daughter.

Sending all the happiness and luck for your precious Shanley Belle!
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, it's difficult to say goodbye. We will say hello next week, though. Our daughter is coming to visit us for a week. :))
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday,
Lois
It's so hard to see them grow up...even though that's what we hope for when they are little. Best of luck to both of you on this big new step!
ReplyDeleteSigh - unfortunately, they grow up - way, way too fast!!
ReplyDeleteShanley Belle is as happy as a bell! What a sweet photo. Best of luck to her and you. I remember when we first became empty nesters. Nice, but we sure missed our house full of kids and friends.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jann
Just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for leaving me a comment on my Cowboy Coffee Cake at Posed Perfection. You asked where the name came from...I wish I could tell you. The recipe was given to me by a sweet lady and I never bothered to ask about the name. I was too busy eating it;-) You are a beautiful artist. Gorgeous pictures! And about the kids...they do grow up too fast. I still have a few years before mine head off to college, but I know it will be a hard transition. I hope you'll come by and visit again. Have a blessed week! ~Nici~Posed Perfection
ReplyDeletePoor you. I don't move Kate in until the end of August, but I feel your pain. I hope the move goes well and I'm glad that you had some good times during the summer together.
ReplyDeleteI moved my kids so many times I lost count...but I loved helping them settle into a new "home." Enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh, I understand. I've loved having my girl home this summer. She will be here until September. Have a good trip with her. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest picture of Shanley Belle, what a happy child! I know her apartment will be to die for! Have fun.
