Quite a Transformation

Saturday, February 18, 2012

I have been meaning to post photos of Shanley's sorority house.  It is simply stunning since Matt Clinton redecorated it.  He is so talented; he did an amazing job with the Delta Zeta house.  I only wish he had been chosen to redecorate my sorority house!

Another view of the formal living room.  The TV can be hidden when not in use.  One of the things I love about the new design is the artwork!

Gathering room.  I love the cheerful colors!

The girls are truly enjoying their pretty home.

Matt Clinton Designs also offers dorm room "fluffing" services for young ladies.  You can visit his website here.

I am eating lunch with some friends today, then it is back home to tackle a pile of laundry.  I might put on a good movie while I get it done.  This is a good day for it because it is going to rain.  What are your plans for today?

Until next time...

Blessings!

  1. I can't get over how beautiful this house is...what lucky girls. I'm doing laundry as well...it's actually a nice day here. At least for the moment there is blue sky. Just makes everything a little more cheerful! Have a wonderful rest of the weekend...enjoy your lunch.

  8. What a beautiful hose. Very lucky girls. I am doing laundry, too but the dryer seems to have conked out in the middle of the first load. I am staring at it with an evil eye and giving it a chance to decide to play nice. :)

  9. Wow, their house is beautiful. I would love to live there myself. Hope your lunch was good. I just got my errands ran too and back home. It's suppose to SNOW here tonight and tomorrow and you know how I feel about that!! :( not so much... so I am making red beans and rice. Thought it would be good to get a head start on Fat Tuesday and do a little cajun!!

  10. Wow...her sorority house is SO classy! Like some posh British historic inn. I'm envious! My dorm rooms all looked like a prison cell. :D

(And today? I've already finished hanging decor that's been sitting around for 5 months, prepped soil for planting seeds, cleaned top to bottom, set up all the cat supplies for my new cat that's coming tomorrow, packaged my two blog swap boxes, and did the dishes. I still have to do: trash, laundry, change dead light bulbs, get dressed, and most importantly, sew a costume. I think I'm gonna need more coffee....) Enjoy your movie and laundry! :D

  13. Not sure how I feel about being outclassed by a sororit house...break it to me gently...do they keep it clean too?

Just got back from a martini tasting walk...don't be too jealous, I was the driver, but there was a culinary adventure too!

  18. Sorority houses did NOT look like that when I went to college! Ours was a dilapidated row house.
    That's totally GORGE!

  21. Stunning sorority house. What a beautiful job he did. I would think the girls would never want to leave. And thanks for your comment regarding my mom's back fracture. It's not a compression fracture, unfortunately. But I did mention what you said and we go to the doc tomorrow and I will mention the procedure to her to see if it's possible. Have a good week.

  23. LOVE THE BIBLE QUOTE because really, when all is said and done, HE has the final say. AND THIS IS A SORORITY HOUSE????? My word, what a clean and orderly place!!! Where I went to college, it was a mess!!!!!

Dearest, thank you for visiting! I happen to be off work from my classroom today for Presidents' Day; I am preparing my bunnies for this coming Friday. Thank you for noticing them!

    Enjoy a wonderful week! Anita
