Happy Twelfth Night 2012

Friday, January 6, 2012

I want to thank you for your kind comments and emails.  I read each one, and I will respond when I am able.   I am feeling a bit better today, and I am trying the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, apple sauce, and toast).  So far I have handled the toast okay.

I had planned to write a few posts about our trip, but I might just write a long one this weekend. I also need to write my Literary Friday post later this evening.

Today is Twelfth Night, and we usually have a king cake party.  You can see my post from last year here.  Mr. Art @ Home did bring home a king cake for the kids, and some Mardi Gras colored flowers for me.

Liz @ Rose Vignettes is hosting her Fresh Cut Friday party today, and the featured flower is carnations.

Until next time...

Ricki Jill

Your flowers truly are Mardi Gras colors. Very pretty and will hopefully lift your spirits.
