I want to share with you some art by my art teacher, Dori Decamillis. Dori recently completed a series highlighting places unique to Alabama, and the paintings are currently showing at the Mobile Museum of Art. This painting is my favorite one in the series; it features the historic Alabama Theatre in downtown Birmingham.
We love Dori's art, and we bought this painting from her Grammar of Ornament series. I love how the Japanese and French Baroque symbols compliment one another.
We enjoy having Dori's art in our home so much. I hope you will visit her beautiful website for Red Dot Gallery HERE.
