Usually I like to mix flowers in my arrangements. When I saw stock at the local market, I only bought them and nothing else. I think their delicate blossoms can stand on their own, especially in an interesting vase.
Mr. Art @ Home gave me the Carmen Miranda vase made by a Louisiana artist for our thirteenth wedding anniversary. I was not very kind when he gave it to me; I am very ashamed to admit it especially because he thought I would love it. She has grown on me in the last ten years, and I consider her one of my very favorite treasures. How can you not look at her and smile!

Until next time...

Your Carmen Miranda vase is very quirky and the stocks make a perfect headdress.
