Happy Wednesday, My Lovelies! Is it beginning to look a lot like Christmas in your neck of the woods? I might seriously try to find some daisies for Christmas because there is a Chrismon that's a daisy! Daisies remind me of our oldest daughter because they are her favorite flower, and now they remind me of Jesus! Here is today's Chrismon:
Toward the end of the 15th century, the daisy became a popular symbol for the innocence of the Holy Child.
Today's scripture:
Then Herod called for a private meeting with the wise men, and he learned from them the time when the star first appeared. Then he told them, “Go to Bethlehem and search carefully for the child. And when you find him, come back and tell me so that I can go and worship him, too!”
Matthew 2:7-8
Until next time...
Blessings!

ReplyDeleteI had no idea! I love your painting!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty. I just saw daisies at the grocery store today. Never thought of them as winter or Christmas flowers. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI did not know this about the daisy. I've also heard it's the "friendly" flower. I think I will pick up daisies for a Christmas centerpiece. Lovely Chrismon
ReplyDeleteI did not know that about daisies. They are one of my favorites and we had them as one of our wedding flowers.
