Hello, My Lovelies! Today I want to share with you these pretty Christmas tag journals.
I first learned how to make these via a workshop taught by Judith Cassel-Mamet.
Tag journals are fun because they are portable and look great hanging on the wall of your studio. My girls love them!
Let's take a look at the Christmas version:
These are made with chip board luggage tags, card stock luggage tags, and other Christmas tags and ephemera.
Tag #1
The front of the tags are decorative, and the backs are for writing memories or gluing more ephemera, like ticket stubs for your favorite holiday movie.
I love the Christmas ornament tag with the bird's nest.
Tag #2
This is what the backs of the tags look like. Some of them are blank, and some have little prompts, like the "Our Traditions" prompt, above.
I'd like to make another one for favorite Christmas cozy mysteries, and another one for favorite Hallmark Christmas movies.
What holiday crafts have you made so far this year?
Until next time...
Blessings!
Ricki Jill
I haven't done any crafts since we got back from NC...waiting to get things in order, etc! lol I'll leave your blog open on my desktop and hopefully try to make one of these this week. I have all of my Christmas stuff ready! Holiday hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteLove this idea!
ReplyDeleteOh so lovely indeed
ReplyDeleteLawsy, we just got home from NOLA last night, so I have done absolutely nothing. Cool idea. I just want to get my bags unpacked and find a Christmas tree. So -- no -- no crafts. Yet.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty tags! I love the idea of the Hallmark movie one. That would be a lot of fun to make. I've made a few felt ornaments & a couple of tree toppers & I think I'm done...for now!
ReplyDeleteThose tags are so cute! I have been slow to do any crafts lately. Thanks for sharing your sweet little tags.
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! I think those would make adorable little Christmas gifts for girlfriends. Saving this idea. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are so sweet! They look like so much fun to make! I have saved every little tag and paper treasure you've sent me in the monthly letters, and have them clipped to things on my desk! I love the Merci ones especially!! This post makes me want to get out my stamping stuff and play!

What a great idea. I am making tags using some of my favorite Christmas cards that I saved over the years.
