Happy Thursday, My Lovelies! Recently I finished two painting, part of a series of old, chippy doors and doorknobs. I found photos online via Pinterest and decided to paint them. I'd like to take photos of architectural elements the next time we visit family in New Orleans and paint them, too.
All four of these oil paintings are 6" X 6" and painted on artist boards.
I have a few more warped, chippy doors with interesting hardware photos on my "Stuff I Want to Paint" Pinterest Board. Decisions, decisions!

So unique and pretty!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE each and every one Ricki Jill! Gorgeous!! Old doors have always fascinated me...on a trip to San Migelle de Allende Mexico, I photographed a gazillion doors, the entire town is made up of buildings with different colored wooden doors and it is so interesting. I only got around to painting about 4. Love the glass knobs, just stunning!
