Advent Day Nineteen 2016

Monday, December 19, 2016

Happy Monday, My Lovelies!  I hope you're having a great start to your week by sipping on something yummy and warm.  Speaking of warm drinks, today's cookie is a Green Tea Wafer.  It was made with green tea matcha powder and honey.

My daughter made them and she went a wee bit heavy on the sprinkles!

Titus 2:11-14

2:11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all,

2:12 training us to renounce impiety and worldly passions, and in the present age to live lives that are self-controlled, upright, and godly,

2:13 while we wait for the blessed hope and the manifestation of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

2:14 He it is who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.

Until next time...

Ricki Jill

  1. I laughed right out loud when I saw the sprinkles. My grandson just did a frosted cookie and "decorated" it. I am not kidding when I saw it was almost a full inch high with 'decorations'. lol You guys are having fun with all the baking. xo Diana

  2. Sprinkles ... my boys do the same ... shake, shake, shake the more the merrier. ;-)

  3. I love the sprinkles! Sipping something warm is a must here. My goodness we were negative double digits yesterday without wind chills factored in. Today we made it to the single digits still negative if you count the wind chills. LOL One thing I hate about Iowa the frigid cold.

  4. Sitting here sipping my morning coffee and thinking one of your daughter's tea cookies would taste so fine. Enjoying your Advent series of cookies and scripture. Happy Day.............

  5. I have seen so many recipes using green tea matcha, but haven't tried using it yet, how was the flavor?

  6. Oh! There's a cookie under those sprinkles?! ;) Sprinkles are for winners!
