You may see my Halloween tablescape in our dining room HERE.
Happy All Saints Day, My Lovelies! November is here!!! Guess what I'm doing today? Cleaning house and putting away all things Halloween!
Did you have tons of Trick-or-Treaters last night? We always do in our neighborhood because it's kids' heaven out here. We buy tons of candy each year, but we also have a few leftovers.
A big bowl of candy awaits the neighborhood kids in our foyer.
I saw the most fun infograph about the most popular Halloween candy per state. Check it out:
Apparently Airheads are the most popular in my state (Alabama). My favorite candy: Snickers! I need to trick-or-treat in either Alaska or Illinois! See!!! Now you see why Chicago is one of my favorite cities. ;P
My daughter went to the Relient K concert here in Birmingham last night, and they recently released a few Halloween-themed songs. One is a cute song about Halloween candy.
Hmmmm....I don't notice the Butterfinger Cup on the map.
So I have three questions for you. Please answer in the comment section below:
1. What is your favorite Halloween candy?
2. What is your state's favorite Halloween candy?
3. Have you ever partaken of the Butterfinger Cup?
Until next time...
Blessings!
Ricki Jill
Toss up either Tootsie Rolls or Peanut Butter Cup. Twix is my state and yes I have had a Butterfiger Cup.
ReplyDeleteI love those little trees. We didn't get very many kids this year. It was quiet.
ReplyDeletebeautiful table scape!!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have some of those candies here in Canada,,at least not in our Province,, becasue we lived in a rural area Halloween was more a party in the community Hall and my favorite candy is still caramel apples for Halloween! Its something that is always at the parties, popcorn balls and Caramel apples, homemade treats are safe because we are all neighbors at the parties,, the farms are all too far apart for trick or treating.
Okay, now I'm craving Snickers and Butterfinger Cups!
ReplyDeleteHi Ricki, I have not had a Butterfinger cup but Butterfingers are my all-time favorite! Now that Halloween is over, I guess Christmas is not that far away :)
ReplyDeleteDarn it! Lost my comment. My daughter had the BF cups last night at her house but I did not try one. I do love a Butterfingers-except they stick in your teeth...and once in a while I get a craving for an Almond Joy.
ReplyDeleteI just looked-our state candy is Laffy Taffy (go figure)...lol
AND I could eat a BAG of candy corn all by myself...sad....just plain sad. xo Diana
Oh I love this post and your Halloween tablescape. What a neat map, candy map! Cute song RJ. Hard questions. I love candy, so if I have to choose one it has to be Hershey's chocolate bar. We have the same state so don't have to answer this one. And, are you kidding, butterfingers cups are so yummy! We have a lot of children here too so a lot of trick or treaters. A little candy leftover. OH, love Milk Duds.........I'm getting ready to enjoy November too.........
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteWisconsin is Laffy Taffy! I am a Kit Kat girl, so off to Montana I go. ;-)
Yes, I would love to have a Butterfinger Cup! I know my husband would love to try a Butterfinger Cup too!
No children came to our place on Halloween, which is good since I don't do Halloween
ReplyDeleteCute post! We ran away from home, and the candy I bought we (we mostly I) ate. Snickers, of course.I think I might have seen these Butterfingers Cups, but I did not buy them. The one I have searched and searched for I don't even now it's name. However, I think I bought it in Walmart where they often have test items, some of which never make it into the mainstream. This one was indescribably delicious: It was made by Reese, but it was like a KitKat -- a chocolate coated wafer cookie with the peanut butter in the filling! Heaven in the mouth! And of course I can't find anymore, which is probably a good thing since I ate most of them. Hence the regular gym visits...
