Come on in, y'all!
Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Something wicked this way comes!
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble...
SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES!
Please join Vanessa @ A Fanciful Twist
Until next time...
Blessings!
Ricki Jill

Ricki! That is just a fantastic table! I LOVE all the little extras you have there- the lengths you went to! Those placemats with the legs hanging down....the baubles and dressing on your chandy---the eye of new and toe of frog. What a CLEVER post. Love it. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteps.IF you have time pop over and sign up for the giveaway for my son's new venture.
Too fun! Nearly scared Ray our of a year's growth when I cranked up that music while he was peacefully drinking his coffee and reading his Barron's. Very creative! I still love your DR chairs, too.
ReplyDeleteSo fun !!!
ReplyDeleteFanta float .... yum yum !!!
Love your witchy hats, and those little witchy legs made me giggle :-)
You knocked it out of the park with this one. Ãœber cool yucky food (eye of newt and toe of frog) and I love your creative staging. Alright I will indulge in one of those yummy cupcakes!
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!
xo,
Vera
So festive! I love the Oreo witches' hats and all the handmade decor! The chandelier looks magical and suits the occasion. I love Macbeth. My daughter was in a scene of this in a school play when she was little. She was one of the witches and memorized the poem, beside her lines. Love the rhythm. I used the first line of the raven for mine, because my daughter loves all that goes on with the language in it. Congratulations to your daughter! That's wonderful that it is decided early. xoxo Su

ReplyDeleteHi! I really love your post, the way you set your table, and the orange and cream floats sound delicious!
ReplyDeleteHow clever to put the float in a cauldron.
Sincerely, Citrus and Neon
Oh, it couldn't be any better. So clever to use the Shakespeare chant! The table runner is adorable and love the black and white shades on the chandy. We have an antique chandy so the shades are glass that hang down. I'd love to find a way to make them more festive. Your menu is fun and every bite tasty. I saw the set of witch hats at a friend's store this season. I was tempted to get them, but didn't. Glad you have them for me to enjoy. '-)
