My favorite Christmas carol seems to change from year to year. This year "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" is my favorite. What's your favorite Christmas Carol?
Matthew 2:3-6 New International Version (NIV)
3 When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. 5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written:
6 “‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for out of you will come a ruler
who will shepherd my people Israel.’”
Until next time…
Blessings!

Tis the Sunday before Christmas
Oh how sweet. It's one of my favs, too. Maybe I'll play the carols on the piano today. Holiday hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteI have a horrible singing voice, but when our son was a baby, I would sing to him while I rocked him late at night. Silent Night is one of the few songs that I know well so I sang it to him frequently - not just at Christmas. The song always makes me think of him.
ReplyDeleteI liked this
ReplyDeleteLove this RJ, my favorite so far. My favorite carol is Silent Night!
ReplyDeleteAlthough there are many old and newer Christmas songs I like, my absolute favorite has to be O Holy Night. Love it!
