Kenzie and Scriptor are hosting the linky now. Here are this week's questions:
{no. 1} What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
I just posted about this on Monday, LOL! My guilty pleasure is watching The Bachelor. You can read my post about it here.
Coming in at a close second would be Seattle Chocolates' truffle bars! ;P
{no. 2} Do you actually keep your resolutions for the New Year?
I don't make them. I try to set monthly goals and achieve them.
{no. 3} If you had to do one random act of kindness today, what would it be?
If I could answer that then it wouldn't be random ;P
{no. 4} Do you have a bucket list, 101 in 1001 list, or any other list? If you do, what are some of your goals?
I don't have a bucket list, but there is a tour of Ireland where you ride horses from castle to castle. I would love that, and so would the girls!
I'd also like to attend the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade and Parade of Roses.
Most of my other goals involve my children/home, not necessarily me.
{no. 5} Why do you love blogging?
Friendships, link parties, and learning so, so much from so many talented women! :D
Until next time...
Blessings!
Ricki Jill
Riding horses in Ireland -- how civilized! I drove around with the manic Irish drivers who go extremely fast on the opposite side down narrow little roads bordered very closely by stone walls. The first day, daughter was in tears, fearing imminent death. (Ok, she was also jet lagged.)
ReplyDeleteGreat insights into the type of gal you are...a realist with a heart! The castle tour in Ireland sounds wonderful and I love that you make monthly goals rather than resolutions. Very smart!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
I love learning all the little tidbits of people's lives. The castle tour sounds AMAZING! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteYou are so interesting. Never seen that chocolate. Yes that tour on horseback sounds right out of a Rosamunde Pilcher novel so I know I would love it.
ReplyDeleteThe Ireland trip would be a dream!! Love your reasons to blog, isn't that the truth!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge Bachelor fan too, especially this season!
ReplyDeleteThat would be so neat to be able to ride to each castle!! I am definitely going to put that on my Bucket List :D
Thank you so much for linking up!
Great answers,I love the last photo most
ReplyDeleteI love reading more about you, Ricki Jill. The castle tour sounds interesting and fun, but I think I'd be pretty sore. Doubt I could walk once I arrived at the castle. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love that your focus is on your kids and your home....it's too easy to focus attention on ourselves ( usually negative)... But you are a positive and happy person, and that really shines through.
ReplyDeleteCiao Bella

There's still one day left to enter my giveaway...hope you'll stop by.

Oh, your trip to ride in Ireland sounds wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteThe parades would be awesome to see. My Mom's significant other went to the Rose Bowl Parade a few times when the Hawkeyes played several years ago. He was one of the official photographers for the Hawkeye football games.
I used to watch The Bachelor, but I got out of the habit of watching once I realized none of them ever stayed together. I still watch Survivor, which has been on about as long. I've never seen the chocolate, but it sounds really good. Nice to learn so many things about you this week! Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog and have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a bucket list either ... but I would love to do a road trip through the US
ReplyDeleteYes, attending those parades would be pretty spectacular! Thanks for linking up with us!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade!
ReplyDeletefun stuff! but not a good last ride on horseback for me ! =)
ReplyDeletelast day to enter the Giveaway : Jane Austen's 200th Celebration for publication of Pride and Prejudice - if you or any readers are fans - Welcome!

A horseback riding tour of castles in Ireland???! 0_0 That would be amazing!
ReplyDeleteAnd Seattle Chocolates rock, as do Theo, and Moonstruck...you need to come visit, so Fedora and I can take you on the Seattle Chocolate tour!
I think the Hot Buttered Rum is our favorite of Seattle Chococlates' flavors, though there are many in the top 10. You have great taste in guilty pleasures!
I love your answer to #3!
ReplyDeleteMy cousin went to the Thanksgiving parade last year and I was not at all jealous. I was warm and toasty in my house baking pies. I'd rather go to NY when it's warm outside!
(Stopping by from WWTK!)
totally with you about The Bachelor! SO bad but so good :)
