We have made a change in our breakfast room. We now have the table and chairs that match our Welsh Cupboard, and I really love the maple butcher block top. I also like the French ladder back chairs.
Every Bastille Day I like to decorate, but this year we were in Cincinnati. So yesterday I set a fun French-inspired table for breakfast. It was Shelley's school registration day, so we had to get up early. :(
Sunflowers will always remind me of sunny Provence. Nothing is new on the table other than the Bon Appetit napkin rings I bought on sale at Williams-Sonoma. Breakfast was not that special...only fresh berries and toast. I will bake a nice coffee cake later in the week.
HI RJ! Oh, my goodness, your table is gorgeous and that hutch with all of those precious dishes just makes my heart skip a beat! :) Love it.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
That is beautiful! When we drove through the countryside of France, I remember fields and fields of sunflowers. People say that wheat fields look like a sea of gold, but those don't hold a candle to fields of sunflowers. It's my favorite memory of France, actually. Thanks for the reminder. :)
ReplyDeleteRJ, I love your hutch full of MC, awesome! And what a lovely tablescape. The anthro vase is perfect with your MC. Love the flowers, place mats and napkins. What a beautiful way to start the day and send your daughter off to registration day at school. Beautiful, beautiful.

ReplyDeleteOh, my, is it a treat to see your hutch full of Taylor Ceramics. And I had a big smile when I saw your "Let Them Eat Cake" piece from Anthropologie. A friend recently gave me a gift card to Anthroologie, and I knew immediately what I wanted to get. I've admired Molly Hatch's work since first seeing it at Anthropologie. I came home with this one and her Make Do piece. I've added them to our living room book shelves, but I'm working on a tablescape to feature these. Thanks for sharing this table and your hutch full of delight! ~ Sarah
